He discussed the investigation into the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) data leak, the need for enforcement of data protection laws, and the implications of emerging technologies on data security.

Vodacom Tanzania PLC, represented by legal director Olaf Mumburi, participated in the first annual meeting on Privacy and Personal Data Protection, discussing the safeguarding of financial information and digital economy. The event, held in Dar es Salaam, included contributions from legal expert Dirontsho Mohale from South Africa, Stanbic Bank's Winston Ishengoma, and Bank of Tanzania's Abdallah Thabiti.
