Seven parliamentary officials, including a prominent figure known for his controversial behavior, have been charged with embezzlement involving Ugandan Shillings 31.8 billion. They face charges of embezzlement, money laundering, and other corruption-related offenses, with prosecutors alleging the illegal misappropriation of Shs30 billion.
