The InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition has recognized the top 81 students after a rigorous selection process that included over 21,700 entries from secondary schools across the country. These students emerged following the completion of national pre-qualifying examinations.

Thousands of teachers who supervised, invigilated, and marked the 2025 national examinations are expected to receive their delayed payments following the release of funds by the Treasury, according to Soko Directory.

The Public Accountants Examinations Board (PAEB) of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has released the results for the May 2026 examinations, showing an increase in pass rates for both the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) programmes. This examination cycle is the first of three scheduled for the year.
