The Government of Uganda has launched the Uganda Anticipatory Action Roadmap (2025–2031) and the Uganda Multi-Hazard Integrated Early Warning System (U-MHIEWS) to enhance disaster preparedness. These initiatives represent a shift towards proactive measures, focusing on forecast-based actions to mitigate the impact of disasters before they occur. The launch took place at the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe, according to SoftPower News.

The Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) in Singida Region has identified resource leakages and delays in the implementation of development projects funded by the Central Government. In response, the PCCB is undertaking various initiatives, including frequent surveys, to address these project management gaps and improve the efficiency of project execution in local councils.

Bayo Onanuga, a presidential spokesman, stated that he does not agree with the perception of widespread hunger in Nigeria, claiming that many citizens are benefiting from the policies of President Bola Tinubu's administration. He expressed these views during an interview on Arise Television, where he highlighted various government initiatives that he believes are positively impacting the populace.
