The Court of Appeal in Ibadan, Oyo State, has overturned a previous High Court ruling that permitted female Muslim students to wear hijabs at the University of Ibadan International School. In a split decision of two to one, judges Biobele Georgewill and K.I. Amadi ruled that the UI International School is a private institution, impacting the hijab policy for its students.
