Edison Kirabira, the Operation Wealth Creation Civil Coordinator for the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area, has encouraged landowners, landlords, tenants, and prospective buyers to utilize the newly launched Land Management Centre. This initiative aims to address issues such as land grabbing, fraudulent transactions, and ownership disputes in Uganda, according to Watchdog Uganda.

Gen Caleb Akandwanaho, also known as Salim Saleh, has established a non-governmental Land Management Centre aimed at providing a repository for land information. This initiative is intended to facilitate easier access to land-related data for the public.
