Uganda's Electoral Commission has initiated a recruitment drive to hire over 142,000 temporary workers for the upcoming village and parish council elections scheduled for July and August. The recruitment process commenced on Monday and will continue until July 1, according to commission chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama.
