Taiwan has reinstated 'anti-communist' patriotic education for military academy graduates after a 25-year hiatus, citing concerns over threats from China. The Commissioner of the National Secretariat for Patriotism Corps, Hellen Seku, has launched a patriotism training and orientation program for Ugandan nationals recently evacuated from South Africa as part of the Government’s Voluntary Repatriation Programme. The training is taking place at the National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi.
