At least six individuals were rescued following the collapse of a three-storey commercial building at Alakija Bus Stop in the Satellite Town area of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, Lagos State. The incident was confirmed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Gbenga Omotosho, in a statement shared on X.

A five-storey building collapsed on Odili Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, resulting in one death and many individuals trapped inside. Rescue operations are currently underway to save those trapped, according to Punch.
