Singer Latinum, whose real name is Tonny Mbangira, has been arrested by police following a road accident on Nsambya road involving a Mercedes-Benz. Preliminary reports indicate that the owner of the vehicle claims that UGX 2 million in cash and a laptop went missing after the incident, leading to the theft accusation against Latinum.

Hauwa Ishaku, a 38-year-old businesswoman, and Chucks Benson, a 73-year-old driver, have been arraigned in a Life Camp Chief Magistrates’ Court in Abuja for allegedly causing a road accident. They were charged by the police with driving without care and causing an accident. The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
