Construction of the 12-kilometre Mjanaheri-Ngomeni link road in Magarini Sub-County, Kenya, has reached 50 per cent completion, according to the Kenya News Agency. The Sh600 million project, commissioned by President William Ruto three months ago, is being implemented by the Coast Development Authority. The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced plans to implement a toll fee on the Ksh 184 billion Rironi–Mau Summit Road project upon its completion. The 233-kilometre road, which will be constructed over two years through a public-private partnership, will charge motorists Ksh 8 per kilometre. KeNHA stated that any future changes to the toll will adhere to the project agreement and necessary government approvals and regulations.

The Government of Uganda has obtained €110.5 million (approximately Shs481 billion) from Standard Chartered Bank Uganda to finance the upgrading of the 115.8-kilometre Kitgum-Kidepo road, which is considered a strategic infrastructure project.

Japan is set to replace the hazardous Likoni ferries with a modern four-lane cable-stayed bridge over Kilindini Creek in Mombasa. The bridge will span 1.4 kilometers and will be accompanied by approximately 13 kilometers of connecting roads and modern infrastructural interchanges.
