According to the report, the talks focused on promoting technical cooperation and investment, as Tanzania's government prioritizes boosting local drug production to meet domestic and regional market demand.

The Tanzanian government has urged local traders and investors to seize economic opportunities in China to enhance their businesses and increase exports of domestic products. This call was made by Deputy Minister of Industries and Trade, Dennis Londo, during the launch of Service Day organized by the Tanzanian Embassy in China.

Yas Tanzania, a telecommunications company, has donated delivery and medical equipment to Kaliua District Hospital in Tabora Region as part of its Tumaini campaign, which aims to support maternal and child health services. The donation, which includes maternity kits, examination beds, a wheelchair, sheets, delivery trays and khangas, is expected to reduce costs for low-income expectant mothers seeking delivery services at the hospital and help the facility meet maternal healthcare needs.
