The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has appointed three women Members of Parliament to represent backbenchers on the Parliamentary Commission, as part of the process to establish the leadership and administrative framework of the 12th Parliament. At 25, Hon. Lenia Charity Kevin has become the youngest member of the National Resistance Movement’s Central Executive Committee (CEC), which is responsible for making significant strategic decisions for the party. Her appointment was confirmed during a committee meeting at State House in Entebbe, where she was one of four nominees selected by Party Chairman President Yoweri Museveni.
