Tanzania's sixth-phase government has strengthened the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) by expanding academic capacity and improving infrastructure, according to Michuzi Blog. The government helped the institution secure nine professors and funded 78 staff members to pursue PhD degrees locally and abroad; 48 have completed their studies while 30 continue. The initiative, which includes an investment of 67.9 billion shillings, aims to boost TIA's ability to deliver education, conduct research, and produce knowledge.

The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) officially launched the Insurance Village during the 50th anniversary of the International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam, known as Saba Saba.
