Troops from the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, have rescued six more kidnapped victims, including four adults and two infants, in Talakawa, Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State. The information was confirmed by Acting Military Information Officer Mohammed Goni in a statement released on Saturday.

Combined troops of Operation HADIN KAI successfully repelled a terrorist ambush following an improvised explosive device (IED) detonation along the Damboa–Kumala road in Borno State. The incident occurred around 1 pm on July 4, according to security sources. Troops from the 19 Battalion (Mechanised), 25 Brigade were involved in the response to the attack.
