Jonathan Vatsa, a member of the All Progressives Congress in Niger State and former Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, has advised Governor Mohammed Umar Bago to select a Christian running mate for the 2027 governorship election. He cautioned that failing to do so could lead to a loss of support for the party, citing concerns over the marginalization of Christians.
