Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the payment of allowances and stipends to National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in Zamfara state, according to Vanguard News.

The Kwara State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Onifade Joshua, has stated that the state is safe for corps members, emphasizing the scheme's temporary nature. This assurance comes amid ongoing discussions about the safety of youth participants in the program.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) have commended Abdulhameed Yushau, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), for leading a Drug-Free Schools Initiative aimed at educating secondary school students about the risks of substance abuse. This awareness campaign took place at Parliament International School and Government Secondary School in Abuja.
