Nigerian students Chimdiebube Onwubiko, Don Anele Munachimso, and Egejurum Onyedikachi are representing Nigeria at the 2026 International STEM Olympiad in Rome, Italy. They are competing against students from 154 countries in mathematics and science.

STEM Africa is launching its flagship STEM Africa Fest with the goal of reaching at least 25,000 additional children, parents, and educators across Africa to promote practical education in science and technology. This initiative aims to address growing concerns regarding the lack of skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) across the continent.
