According to Moneyweb, the Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) has initiated an upgrade project at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha. This project aims to enhance terminal facilities and is part of a larger strategy for modernising the airport to alleviate congestion.

This probe aims to assess the terms and conditions of these concessions and their adherence to established guidelines.

Msalato International Airport in Dodoma is set to commence operations in September 2026 as construction nears completion. The airport is designed to accommodate 1.5 million passengers each year and aims to enhance both domestic and international air connectivity, thereby bolstering investment and economic activity in Tanzania's capital.
