The Sokoto State Police Command successfully thwarted a bandit attack in Daraye Village, Wamako Local Government Area, resulting in the death of one suspect and the recovery of an AK-47 rifle.

The Village Head of Kulodo community, his eldest son, and four other victims were buried after a deadly bandit attack in Kulodo and Kwamtsi villages in Bodinga Local Government Area of Sokoto State. According to Daily Trust, five victims were killed in Kulodo village, while another resident was killed in a neighboring area.
