The All Progressives Congress (APC) has increased its Senate seats to 88 following recent by-elections, reinforcing its majority in the Senate despite some defections from the party.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has officially sworn in four new senators who won their seats in recent by-elections. The ceremony marks the addition of these new members to the Senate following their electoral victories.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) achieved success in all three Lagos councillorship by-elections, which were held to fill vacancies in the areas of Ibeju-Lekki, Shomolu, and Odi.
