State Minister for Fisheries Robert Migadde Ndugwa has clarified that the government has not halted fishing activities in Uganda's waters, stating that fishermen can continue their operations as long as they use approved fishing gear and adhere to fisheries regulations. He made these comments while campaigning for NRM flag bearer Nabayiga Idah at Lwanabatya Landing Site in Kyamuswa County, addressing local residents and the fishing community.
