The Tanzanian government has launched two digital platforms: the Government Service Directory (GSD), which allows citizens to access government services through a single gateway, and the Ngao cyber-security system, designed to enhance the protection of government information systems. This initiative was announced during the Public Service Week celebrations in Dodoma, according to Daily News.

The South African Department of Home Affairs has expanded its Smart ID replacement services to over 200 banks, with more than 250,000 individuals utilizing the service since its launch in March, according to SABC News.
