All civil servants in Kenya will receive a salary increase starting in July, following an order from President William Ruto for a review of pay and allowances in the public service. Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku announced this decision during the Public Service Week celebrations at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre on June 23. The adjustments will apply to all public servants and will include major allowances in addition to basic pay.
