The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced plans to implement a toll fee on the Ksh 184 billion Rironi–Mau Summit Road project upon its completion. The 233-kilometre road, which will be constructed over two years through a public-private partnership, will charge motorists Ksh 8 per kilometre. KeNHA stated that any future changes to the toll will adhere to the project agreement and necessary government approvals and regulations.
