Wananchi na wanachama wa Mfuko wa Taifa wa Bima ya Afya (NHIF) wamepongeza Mfumo wa Kujihudumia Binafsi unaowezesha kupata huduma kupitia simu janja, wakisema mfumo huo umeongeza uwazi, ufanisi, na kuokoa muda wa kupata huduma. Wamesema hayo walipotembelea banda la NHIF katika Maonesho ya 50 ya Biashara ya Kimataifa ya Dar es Salaam.

The government has allocated Sh4 billion to settle claims from hospitals under the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF). According to SHA CEO Mercy Mwangangi, eligible facilities will receive payments only after completing a mandatory sign-off process that confirms their verified claims have been fully settled.

The Social Health Authority (SHA) is requesting funds from the Treasury to settle National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) claims exceeding Sh10 million. The authority has confirmed that these outstanding claims have completed the necessary verification process and are prepared for payment once the funds are made available.
