This program seeks to enhance the employability of refugees by providing them with skills and access to the digital economy.

As of 2022, South Africa hosted approximately 2.4 million international migrants, representing 3.9% of the population, primarily from the Southern African Development Community region. Public health professionals have highlighted the economic contributions of these immigrants, noting their role in fostering economic growth and diversity, according to Statistics South Africa (Stats SA).
